S.K.Consultants is a private Lao consulting company established in 1991 with 70% of its turn over generated through international aid funded projects.

S.K.Consultants is one of the first Lao enterprises to have proven its ability and knowledge in the diverse field of development. The company has all the resources and experience necessary to manage large-scale projects.

The scope of services covers the entire cycle of project development and from feasability and resource analysis, planning, design, preparation of tender and procurement documents to construction management and supervision, institutional development and training.

Its Managing Director and sole proprietor of the company , Mr Sengkham Phinith, holder of an engineering degree from Ecole Speciale des Travaux Publics, des Batiments et de l'industrie (ETP) and Centre des Hautes Etudes de Construction en Beton Precontraint (CHEBAP), Paris, established S.K.Consultants following 30 years of experience with various Lao Government departments including, among others, the Ministry of Public Works, Nam PaPa Lao, Ministry of Construction and Electricite du Laos.

Considering the extensive experience of its Managing Director, his good knowledge of conditions prevalent in Lao PDR and the relevant capacity acquired over the years, the company is in a unique position to offer consultancy services for any projects financed by international institutions and dealing with water supply, environment, architectural design, construction, site development, topographical surveys, road and brige design.

Concerning road and bridge design, S.K.Consultants relies upon the assistance of V.V Survey Design and Supervision Co., an enterprise which is located in the same building and can provide services in view of its high level of competence in road construction studies (topographical surveys, construction projects, soil analysis, drainage, mapping and management).
